ABOUT ROLE
The Senior Content Specialist will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing content across various platforms. With 6-8 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing high-quality content, managing content projects, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing and editing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt content for different audiences and purposes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality content for various channels, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, social media, email campaigns, and more.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content strategies that align with business objectives and target audience needs.
- Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all content is error-free, on-brand, and adheres to the company's style and tone guidelines.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to increase organic search visibility and drive traffic to the company's digital properties.
- Content Management: Maintain and update content calendars, track content performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to produce cohesive and effective content.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to inform future content development and strategy adjustments.
- Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in content creation, content strategy, or related roles.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience with social media platforms and content marketing tools.
DESIRABLES
- Experience in IT/ITES/Data Center
- Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia content creation.
