The Senior Manager Role:

Rockwell Digital is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurially minded, subject matter expert at the Senior Manager level to advance the growth of their India region. A Senior Manager-level consultant within Rockwell Digital is comparable to the Senior Manager or Associate Principal/Partner role in similar global consulting and professional services organizations. The next career step for a Rockwell Digital Senior Manager is the Principal or Director level (comparable titles in other consulting organizations include: Partner, VP or Managing Director).

The role offers a unique opportunity to nurture an established organization, strengthen the practice and evolve the Rockwell Digital brand. You will work with other senior members of the local Rockwell Digital team to facilitate the team's collective understanding of operations, strategy, information technology, customer experience and business transformation and the interdependency between them. Combine Rockwell Digital's long-term client relationships and global portfolio of capabilities to position Rockwell Automation as a thought leader for delivering business oriented, platform-enabled, outcomes focused digital transformation.

You will drive profitable growth for the Rockwell Digital organization, using sound business building skills and strong commercial focus. You will collaborate with other members of the Rockwell Digital team to build, sell and deliver integrated solutions, such as:

Smart Connected Operations: Leverage digital technologies like IoT/IIoT across product development, manufacturing, operations, supply chain and service. Connecting these functions together forms a connected enterprise which unites and integrates information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT), resulting in a digital thread of information that spans the entire value chain. Advanced Analytics: Apply technologies including machine learning to harvest insights from data to make better innovation, design, development and sourcing decisions. Digital Experience: Omni-channel experience management for consumer and enterprise customers Extended Reality (AR/MR/VR): Leverage tools to overlay additional digital information into business processes to enable move efficient learning and task execution. Product Life Cycle Intelligence: Apply artificial intelligence and automation to help PLM users extract meaningful insights from product data, formulate predictions, recommend improvements, and automate actions within systems and processes.Smart Connect Products: Leverage the power of smart connected products to expand opportunities for new product functionality, far greater reliability, reduced downtime, higher product utilization and new revenue streams by monetizing product information

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Manager within Rockwell Digital's Industrial & Life Sciences industry practice you will work with other senior Rockwell Digital team members (including Principals, Directors and other Senior Managers) to accomplish the following:

Client Delivery

  • Synthesizing your clients most pressing business challenges with Rockwell Digital's vast portfolio of offerings, you will effectively optimize the value of the services being offered and delivered to clients. Leveraging your experience, subject matter expertise and credibility, you will help to bring the strategy to realization while managing day-to-day practice operations, project delivery and client development.
  • Oversee and manage delivery of services to meet client requirements on time and within budget.
  • Maintain active delivery responsibilities supporting 65% personal utilization.
  • Manage delivery risk and quality.
  • Provide intellectual thought leadership in the definition of new services and delivery of existing ones.

People & Practice Development

  • Help develop the Life Sciences segment of our global Practice.
  • Develop and deliver Digital Transformation consulting services.
  • Develop business cases for our clients technology and business transformations.
  • Lead assessments, develop transformation strategies and provide clients with multi-year journey roadmaps.
  • Ability to design new operating models for our clients with a broad understanding of required capabilities, processes, roles / responsibilities & organization structures.
  • Build out the local Rockwell Digital team, new IP and toolsets to deliver value added and innovative service offerings for our clients.
  • Author articles and deliver presentations to external audiences to advance your personal eminence and the Rockwell Digital brand within the market
  • To scale the organization, you will recruit, develop, and coach/mentor a team of high performing consulting professionals

Business Development & Sales

  • Work in collaboration with Rockwell account managers and sales teams to target new accounts, identify and qualify sales opportunities, and to establish/enhance long term relationships with potential customers and clients.
  • Lead teams to define unique and differentiated value propositions, develop and deliver winning service proposals and program plans for profitable and value-added services, and facilitate Rockwell Digital differentiators (i.e., specific consulting frameworks, intellectual property, digital transformation, etc.).
  • Create compelling propositions, often in competitive situations, for the client to engage Rockwell Digital. Introduce the global capabilities and SMEs of Rockwell and Rockwell Digital as needed to progress sales opportunities.
  • Write and deliver winning proposals and effective statements of work.Manage the contracting process between Rockwell and the client.
  • Build and maintain professional relationship with senior and C-level client executives and expand professional network in client organizations.
  • Enhance and sustain strong working relationships with Rockwell Digital and Rockwell business partners in the digital arena including PTC and Microsoft.

Financial Results & Metrics

  • Help develop a sustainable consulting practice based in India that generates at least USD$5.0M/year of consulting revenue
  • Personally lead delivery of consulting services to ensure quality, manage risk and to continue building personal subject matter expertise achieve personal billable utilization of 65% per year

Essential Requirements:

  • Prior experience and positive track record in a senior-level role with a consulting or professional services organization providing digital solutions
  • Deep experience in the Life Science sectors, preferably in operations, asset management or IT/OT functions
  • Proven track record in selling and delivering consulting / professional services
  • Experience leading the implementation, validation and deployment of scalable, commercial IoT/IIoT and analytics solutions in a client-facing setting
  • Significant professional network of relationships in the Life Sciences industries
  • Overall 15+ years of work experience with progressively increasingly levels of responsibility
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Must be willing to travel up to 80 % - mostly in the India region, but also including rest of Asia and US, Europe and LATAM as needed (note out of town travel will average 60%)
