Job Description

  • Managing a team of junior colleagues and proactively involved in developing their knowledge andensuring their career development
  • Interacting directly with client and building relationships; while leveraging the existing relationshipswith clients and introduce them to WTW offerings to enable client procurement
  • Recognising the importance of intellectual capital and innovation; proactively identifying innovationopportunities in new technologies, tools and processes to improve the service we deliver clients
  • Actively providing insights and solutions based on analysis of results and be closely involved infinal work product deliveries to clients
  • Working collaboratively on a range of projects / internal responsibilities and managing prioritiesappropriately
  • Collaborating with a wide variety of people within the organisation in order to ensure best solutionsto client needs and suggesting new or different ways of solving problems
  • Assisting senior leadership in development of new and unique value adding business automationsolutions delivered to clients
  • Working collaboratively with a team of junior colleagues and proactively involved in developingtheir knowledge and ensuring smooth project deliveries
  • Delivering work in accordance to project deadlines, in a manner that meets client expectations
  • Develop documentations of the changes done to the actuarial models and summary of results aspart of regression analysis
  • Seek and participate in key learning and development opportunities
  • Working collaboratively on a range of projects / internal responsibilities and managing prioritiesappropriately
  • Ensuring appropriate and effective communication among team members and the client
  • Build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-geographical teams
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
  • Demonstrating the WTW values of Client Focus, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and Excellence

  • Atleast 6-8 years experience in actuarial role at a life insurance Company or in life insurance teamin a consulting/financial services firm
  • With atleast couple of years of experience of buildingcashflow models in any actuarial software or building automation engines/business transformationtools for reporting purposes of insurers
  • At least 9 actuarial examinations from Institute of Actuaries of India or Institute and Faculty ofActuaries, UK
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience of writing and/or editing code in VBA, Python,SQL or PowerShell
  • Ability to independently lead a team on delivering solutions using actuarial software
  • An interest and aptitude for learning new coding languages and technology
  • Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues; strong client service orientation
  • Strong working knowledge of reserving, pricing, embedded values and other common technicalactuarial topics
  • Strong communication and analytical skills to explain results to senior leadership and identifysolutions for clients, along with participate effectively in development of junior resources
