This open position is for Armanino India LLP, which is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino LLP (USA).
Job Description:
Armanino LLP's Valuation Practice assists start-ups, private and public companies, estates, attorneys, as well as venture capital and private equity firms with business valuation, tangible asset, real estate appraisal, and custom financial modeling services. Armanino's Valuation team has a track record of delivering industry leading expertise and value to clients across a wide range of industries and consulting assignments. We are looking to add to our wickedly smart team in Ahmedabad, India or remote in India.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver complex security valuation projects for 409A, financial reporting (ASC 805), audit review support (SAS 73), and management planning purposes. Instruments include convertible debt, swaps, contingent consideration, equity compensation, TSRs, debt, embedded derivatives, etc.
- Populate and run financial models, including PWERM, Bi-nominal lattice, Monte Carlo simulation, and Black Scholes models
- Independently review and assess derivative, option, warrant, and other agreements as provided by clients to determine how best to value each complex security ensuring every factor from the agreement is taken into consideration
- Manage multiple projects at one time ensuring all projects are completed on budget and on time.
- Have ownership of, and manage, key initiatives and metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, statistics, mathematics, or engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of complex securities valuation experience within a top accounting firm or boutique valuation firm
- Prior experience dealing with and interacting with external reviews (auditors, IRS, etc.)
- Proficiency in Crystal Ball, R, or Python
- Prior experience performing SAS 73 audit reviews
- Strong client communication skills
- Must be willing to periodically work some US hours.
- Good report writing skills, financial modeling skills, the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong client management, consulting, communication, and leadership skills managing expectations and delivering high quality solutions on-time within scope and budget.
- Detail oriented, flexible, and responsive.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional and/or valuation designation(s) including, but not limited to: ASA, CPA, CFA, CEIV, CVFI, ABV, or CVA highly preferred
- Masters in Financial Engineering or other advanced STEM degrees
