Project Description:
Bank of Ireland (BOI) implemented SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) payment system in year 2013. OFSS is providing application support to BOI SEPA payment system since May 2013. OFSS team is responsible to ensure stability of service that is being supported & meet SLA commitments. OFSS is responsible to transition all new changes to the systems. Team is providing 24/7 technical support to payment applications by working offshore & onshore model.As part of application support below applications are supported by team
- Global Payplus MassPay
- Global Payplus HighCare
- CTO payment Engine
- CoreServices Applications like ALU, ACS, DWH etc
- Integration
Scope of services offered L2 Production support
Roles & Responsibilities
Role : Global PAYplus application support-Technical
- 4+ years working experience on Java Programming language+ Database + OS (Linux/Unix)
- Software engineering experience and good knowledge of one or more programming languages
- Knowledge of SDLC and ITIL a plus
- Experience in Linux
- Experience in MongoDB
- Knowledge or Exposure to, Apache Kafka
- Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of industry technologies for storage, networking, and processing
- Experience with Application Servers and Web Servers
- Exposure to cloud related technologies
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent customer interaction skills
As an integral part of the support team you will be responsible for the following
- Production support GPP Instant Payment transaction monitoring System
- Develop a strong understanding of customer's GPP Instant Payment program, policies and procedures, and requirements.
- Execute the accurate processing of different types of alerts in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Suggest process improvements to achieve improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Providing training to the team members and solving the day-to-day Business queries
- Prepare and deliver reports in line with key deliverables
- Knowledge/prior exposure to Incident/Problem/Change Management.
- Participate in Major incidents including tasks related to identifying and basic troubleshooting Infrastructure and application issues proactively
- Provide RCA for Major Incidents as required
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents
- Participate in emergency service and disaster recovery activities
- Willing to work on shifts and on-calls
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work under pressure and think analytically
