- We are looking for a bright, driven, flexible, self-starting and enthusiastic Cloud Engineer who can support and collaborate with colleagues; communicate confidently and clearly with all levels of seniority; is operationally conscious and able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you ll be the one that defines, implements, and documents our Serverless Cloud architecture and provides the CI/CD automation to deploy and promote it.
In this role, you will:
Participate in the design, deployment & operation of our Serverless Cloud platform using DevOps Automation in Terraform and CloudFormation .
Work closely with engineering teams to build Cloud capabilities to support the services they are building.
Must have skills:
AWS Services: CloudFront, Route53, API Gateway Lambda, EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, S3 .
Expertise in writing Terraform configuration files to provision and manage AWS infrastructure.
Knowledge of Terraform best practices, modules, state management, and version control.
Strong understanding of IaC principles and practices.
Ability to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform in a declarative manner.
Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and maintenance workflows.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLa b.
Ability to integrate Terraform with CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment.
Knowledge of AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring/logging services.
Experience in setting up monitoring and logging for AWS resources and applications deployed on AWS.
Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts such as VPC, subnetting, security groups, etc.
Knowledge of designing and implementing architectures that span multiple AWS regions.
Proficiency in defining and managing AWS infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation templates.
Experience with AWS SAM to simplify the deployment and management of serverless applications on AWS Lambda.
Understanding of the syntax, features, and capabilities of CloudFormation and SAM for automating infrastructure and application deployments.
Nice to have skills:
Bash and one other scripting language (preferably Python or Go)
Experience with server build and management tools, such as Puppet, Ansible
Secure cloud connectivity using Aviatrix /Arista etc
AWS or GCP Network speciality certification
Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration and Management (EKS)
