- As the Industrial Energy Technology (IET) Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer, you will lead efforts to convert business and cybersecurity requirements into the cloud architecture, design, and security controls, work with stakeholders to manage Cloud cybersecurity efforts to ensure the appropriate cybersecurity controls are included and consult with business and technology peers to best mitigate risk
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and implementing cybersecurity policies and solutions to protect digital products, services and internal applications in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS environments.
- Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes. Viewed internally and externally as a specialist in the discipline.
- Presenting technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams.
- Communicating solutions with cross-functional partner organizations to gather user requirements and understand use cases, design documents, and driving implementation in accordance with project and platform goals
- Defining and establishing security protection programs for data, software, and systems through risk management protection and governance programs across all technical domains
- Driving the security posture and defines risk levels and mitigating controls based on emerging threats and actors.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college with 8 years of experience in Cloud and/or Cybersecurity Architecture/Engineering.
- Be an expert with Azure services, architecture and security best practices.
- Be an expert with scripting and automation languages (eg, Python, JSON) to author and manage Azure Policies and rules
- Have strong skills in identifying the pain areas of cloud security and automating cloud security workloads to improve governance
- Have a thorough understanding of CICD and DevSecOps to implement and manage security policies and automations
- Have a thorough understanding of cloud automation tools and techniques
Desired skills:
- Be an expert with AWS services, architecture and security best practices.
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have Experience with GRC frameworks (ie, ISO27001, NIST etc)
- Have good interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
