We are looking for Passionate and hard-working Senior Civil Engineers who want to live and work in UAE/ New Zealand/ Germany or Canada region under Work and PR Visa.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with creating an engineering plan for land development based on their calculations and any research conducted. They should have experience with AutoCAD and be able to utilize strong design skills in order to create visual aids. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate will also have the ability to execute a project based on the criteria outlined.
Responsibilities
- Designing and optimizing road systems, traffic signals, and intersections to ensure smooth and safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians while minimizing congestion.
- Ensuring that buildings, bridges, and structures are sturdy, safe, and can withstand different types of loads and environmental conditions without failing.
- Assessing how a construction project might affect the surrounding environment, including air quality, water quality, wildlife habitats, and natural resources.
- Managing water resources by designing systems for drainage, flood control, and water supply.
- Studying the properties of soil and rock to design stable foundations for buildings, slopes for roads, and structures like retaining walls to prevent landslides or erosion.
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing all aspects of a construction project, including budgeting, scheduling, coordinating teams, and ensuring timely completion within specifications.
- Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
- Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications
- Laws and guidelines that govern eco-friendly practices in construction and development projects, ensuring compliance with environmental protection measures, waste management, and sustainable practices.
- Execute project based on outlined criteria
- Regulations and standards that specify requirements for safe, durable, and energy-efficient construction practices, covering aspects like structural integrity, fire safety, accessibility, and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
- Must be able to identify problems, analyze data, and develop creative solutions, whether it's designing a complex structure or addressing environmental challenges.
- Strong skills in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
