Senior Business Systems Analyst (India)

A Brief Overview
The Senior Business Analyst leads planning, conducting, and delivering the analysis and requirements to solve highly complex business problems through strategic technology solutions. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the production of business and system requirements for technology solutions and works directly with individuals from various functions and levels within the organization. This position is focused in supporting our financial system (Oracle Fusion Cloud Fixed Assets, Leasing and Projects)

What You Will Do
- Elicits and manages business, user (stakeholder), transition and software needs and requirements for the
ongoing configuration, support, upgrades, and new development of internal applications.
- Provides leadership and guidance to other members of the team to help set quality standards and best
practices, identifying opportunities to automate business and reporting processes.
- Assesses requirements, defines solution options and ensure TriNet makes cost effective investment decisions
to best fit the needs of the business, while proactively identifying and understanding impact to upstream and
downstream systems and subledgers.
- Acts as the system subject matter expert on the functionality of the Company's systems
- Defines and documents the business and system requirements and acceptance criteria when custom
development is needed for technology components. Including defining detailed functional requirements in
partnership with IT, while minimizing the need for system customization.
- Identifies and documents business scenarios for testing to validate the system functions as intended and
determine the most appropriate response to defects
- Assists in the preparation of deployment/implementation plans and transition of knowledge to application
production support teams
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role in the information technology field or equivalent
Experience
- 5+ years preparing as-is process documentation, to-be process documentation, and performing detailed gap
analysis
Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge specializing in Oracle ERP modules for G/L and Subledgers, Procurement, Expense, Cash
Management and Oracle EPM Modules functionalities, its business processes, and underlying setup and
configurations (Expert knowledge in Leasing, Projects and Fixed Asset Modules required)
- Ability to explain ideas and technical terms clearly and concisely
- Skilled facilitator with outstanding communication skills, capable of planning and running requirements
workshops across diverse cross-functional teams that may be in remote locations
- In depth understanding of software development life cycle stages and key activities
- Ability to articulate and clearly communicate sophisticated problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and
impactful manner.
- Track record of achieving results both independently and in a team environment with changing priorities
Implementation or Support experience in Oracle Cloud Leasing, Projects, and Fixed Assets including the following areas:
- Managing lease lifecycles and familiarity with ASC842 and IFRS 16 standards
- Projects lifecycle with deep understanding of costing and integration to G/L and Fixed Assets
- Familiar with Oracle Acquire to Retire lifecycle.
Licenses and Certifications
- Certification of Competency in Business Analysis(CCBATM) preferred
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred
