Entrepreneur is an American magazine and website that carries news stories about entrepreneurship, small business management, and business. The magazine was first published in 1977. It is published by Entrepreneur Media Inc., headquartered in Irvine, California. The magazine publishes 10 issues annually, available through subscription and on newsstands. It is or has been published under license internationally in Mexico, Russia, India, Hungary, the Philippines, South Africa, and others.

The magazine was relaunched in India in July 2015 by Entrepreneur India Media for Indian readers interested in business and entrepreneurial stories and information.

Role & responsibilities

- Report and write, produce and disseminate a variety of high-quality content across a range of distribution channels from website, video, podcasts and magazine on Corporate, startups, from events, industry trends, government policies and product developments.

- Industry specific news describing the developments therein, based on interviews, personal insights and research

- Attending Media related events for business networking and content creation

- Be part of a big story on the editorial desk

- Interviews with industry leaders and experts

- Be part of creating high-quality content for Media events and Business conference production

Preferred candidate profile

Applicants should be full-time graduates or postgraduates, preferably in journalism/mass communication. A degree in business management will be an added advantage. An ideal candidate should have excellent command over written and spoken English, should be strong at research and eager to meet people.

Experience in research, business feature writing, developing news into full-length articles, interviewing businessmen, helping develop editorial plan etc, will be the key differentiation for this post. Experience of 2 years + will be given preference
