We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Lead to drive business growth and expand our client base. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in IT, ITeS, BPO, KPO solutions and sales strategy to identify new business opportunities, build long-term client relationships, and close high-value deals. As a key member of the business development team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to align business objectives with market trends and client needs.
Key Responsibilities: - Identify New Business Opportunities : Proactively identify and pursue new business prospects, including large enterprise clients through networking, to generate revenue and expand the companys market presence.
- Lead Generation and Sales Strategy : Develop and execute strategic plans for lead generation, prospecting, and deal closure, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Digital Solutions Expertise : Demonstrate deep understanding of the company s products and services (e.g., AI Solutions, BPO, KPO, software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, SaaS solutions) and how they can solve clients business challenges.
- Market Research and Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities, using this information to adjust sales strategies.
- Sales Presentations : Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients, demonstrating how the company s IT services can address their unique requirements.
- Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations with clients to close high-value contracts, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and align with business objectives.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with the sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure the seamless execution of business development strategies.
- Reporting and KPI Tracking : Track and report on key sales metrics, such as lead conversion, sales performance, and revenue targets, using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications: - Education : Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
- Experience : 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the IT industry.
- IT Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of IT products and services such as cloud computing, software development, cybersecurity, and managed services.
- Sales Expertise : Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies that result in revenue growth.
- Lead Generation Skills : Expertise in identifying, qualifying, and converting leads into clients using a variety of methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
- Client Relationship Management : Strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understand their business challenges, and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Negotiation and Deal Closing : Proven experience with RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and contract negotiations, essential for effectively managing various client deals.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations, proposals, and internal collaboration.
- CRM Tools : Proficiency in using CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or other tools to manage client interactions and track sales activities.
- Analytical Skills : Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to optimise strategies and identify new opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in selling enterprise IT solutions or working with Fortune clients.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and social media outreach.
- Certifications in sales or business development (e.g., Certified Business Development Professional).
