Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive with 3.5 to 5 years of expertise in software sales. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of engaging with C-level executives, working with large enterprise clients, and successfully securing in-person appointments. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the software domain.
- Proactively reach out to prospective clients, focusing on large enterprises.
Client Engagement:
- Engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers to present software solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct client presentations, demos, and proposals tailored to their needs.
Appointment Setting:
- Schedule and secure in-person appointments with C-suite executives to discuss potential collaborations.
- Manage the follow-up process for meetings and ensure timely communication with prospects.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams (such as product, marketing, and customer success) to ensure client needs are met.
- Maintain a feedback loop with the product team to enhance software offerings based on customer insights.
Reporting & KPIs:
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance, opportunities, and forecasts to management.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software sales with a focus on enterprise-level clients.
- Proven experience in selling to and engaging with C-level executives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing large enterprise accounts.
- Familiarity with software solutions such as SaaS, cloud-based platforms, or IT services.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex software solutions to a non-technical audience.
