While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:
- Playing a key role in performing in-depth analysis of existing business processes, systems and workflows.
- Creating and updating system documentation, including architecture, integration points, and technical specifications.
- Document data flows between systems and applications, identifying dependencies and touchpoints.
- Ensure documentation is clear, detailed, and kept up to date as systems evolve.
- Defining and updating process flows that clearly show the sequence of activities and decision points.
- Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to validate and refine process flows.
- Using your analytical skills to support the team's activities including business transition activities, service delivery and system & consumer production issues.
Who we are looking for:
- Understanding of system architecture and design as a foundation to build knowledge of our products, services and core systems.
- Developed problem solving skills and ability to look at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
- A love of documentation to go with excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to run workshops and to communicate effectively with Product Managers, Developers and other stakeholders across the organization
- Experience using Agile and Lean methodologies
- Experience working in large organizations with complex and highly varied business functions.
- Ability to collaborate and build productive relationships with stakeholders across the organization and facilitate workshops
- Ability to work productively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in JIRA.
- Experience documenting processes, frameworks and translating business needs into technical requirements.
- 3+ years of experience working in analytics and engineering environments
- Relevant tertiary qualifications highly desirable
