Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our eCommerce team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and B2B and B2C eCommerce, with the ability to analyze complex business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the experience, optimize operational efficiency, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

-Conduct thorough analyses of eCommerce use cases, systems, and performance metrics.

-Identify and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

-Effectively communicate with internal teams and customers to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen, and interface designs.

-Help the business users or end users of the proposed application to conduct user acceptance testing.

-Creating business user training and create user manuals.

-Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

-Work closely with product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and marketing teams to align business goals and deliver innovative solutions.

-Interaction with architects and developer to ensure business requirements are properly implemented.

Data-Driven Insights:

-Leverage data analytics tools to monitor eCommerce performance, customer behavior, and market trends.

-Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management.

Project Management:

-Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

-Develop project plans, timelines, and status reports.

Process Improvement:

-Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend enhancements to improve the customer journey and operational workflows.

-Implement best practices and methodologies in business analysis.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

-Oversee testing efforts to ensure that new features and functionalities meet business requirements and quality standards.

-Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).

Minimum Requirements:

Must have experience in B2B, B2C ecommerce retail space.

Basic understanding of ecommerce and other online retail businesses (B2B, B2C, Omni channel, Order Management etc).

Working knowledge of common business tools - Documentation (Confluence, MS Word), Ticketing (JIRA), Flow Charts (Lucid Charts, Visio etc).

Understanding of IT systems engineering concepts.

Business case development from requirements.

Agile Scrum project working experience.

Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer experience principles.

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau) and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Good to Have

Working knowledge of any of these Ecommerce Platforms - Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, HCL Commerce, Medusa

Working knowledge of Ecommerce and/or Online Retail business functions and use cases

Educational Qualification:

UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization

PG: MBA/PGDM in Any Specialization, MCA in Any Specialization.
