Position Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for software products and services. This role involves working closely with Project Managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that business needs are accurately captured and translated into technical requirements. The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of PaaS and SaaS products within an Agile environment.
Job Description
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical and solution documentation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA teams, to ensure successful delivery of products.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive implementation.
- Write clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Assist Project Managers with project planning, risk management, and progress tracking.
- Ensure that all business analysis activities comply with company policies and governance standards.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide project updates.
- Mentor junior business analysts to enhance team capabilities.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product development and business strategy.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through the lifecycle of the project.
- Manage changes to business requirements through effective change control processes.
- Facilitate 3 Amigos sessions to ensure shared understanding among business analysts, developers, and QA.
- Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize requirements and facilitate better understanding.
- Prepare and present various end-to-end project reports to stakeholders.
Requirement Analysis
Key Responsibilities Area (KRA):
- Lead the analysis of business requirements and ensure they are accurately documented and understood by all stakeholders.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and 3 Amigos sessions to gather detailed requirements.
Agile Process Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and design sessions.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the agile development process.

- Create wireframes and prototypes to facilitate better understanding of requirements.
- Ensure wireframes and prototypes are aligned with business and technical requirements.
Documentation
- Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, process maps, and wireframes.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior business analysts.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and manage their expectations.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress and any issues.
Project Reporting
- Prepare and present various end-to-end project reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure reports are comprehensive and provide valuable insights.
Continuous Learning
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Participate in training and development activities.

Skill And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on software products and services.
- Strong understanding of PaaS and SaaS products and services.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Expertise in preparing detailed and clear documentation.
- Strong experience with agile development processes.
