JOB REQUISITES

Role Summary

The successful candidate's role will be as Senior BIM Modeler in our Bengaluru office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings for Tunnel and Under ground Metro stations. You can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to BIM Manager in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally..

Responsibilities

1. Prepare the required project drawings 2D and BIM Models.
2. Self check of the quality and deadlines of his/her production.
3. Liaise with the WSP Switzerland team for technical aspects
4. Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualizations
5. Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model
6. Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models

Key Competencies

Demonstrated experience with :

1. Autocad
2. Bacad (if possible)
3. Revit
4. Civil 3D.
5. Microsoft tools

Mandatory Skills

Requirements for Senior BIM Modeller/CAD:

• Develop and implement the digital strategy for projects.
• Digital support to project management and the client organization.
• Preferrable experience in Rail Tunnel/Metro/Undergroundprojects.

And even might manage individual projects for clients and/or lead a project team.

We require candidates to have several years of experience in digital information/project management or technical administration.

Proficiency in spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communications skills

And have proficiency in the use and application of BIM and 2D & 3D modelling and coordination software such as Bentley (MicroStation, Projectwise), AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks.

• Lead coordination meetings with a mix of members from Switzerland and India.
• Create and implement BIM manuals in the project.
• Take part in regularly scheduled meetings providing accurate updates on progress of work
• Consistently apply business standards and techniques to assure quality
• Communicate any risks or impediments to effective delivery in a timely manner
• Support business development and bidding where required

Qualifications

Minimum of Diploma in Civil Engineering
