Job Description
To work as part of our PCMC team for WSP Australia in WSP India iCRC to provide Engineering Design and BIM (Revit) support to engineering projects. The successful candidate's role will be as Engineer - ELV in our Bengaluru/Noida office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings.
The ideal candidate will have international project experience (preferably within the Australia or Asia region) and have experience working on Data Centres, Healthcare and Major Precinct Projects. Ability to work with Senior Engineers and convert ELV engineering designs and concepts into complete solutions within a Revit model. Working with team members in different locations is an essential skillset.
You can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to Principal Engineer in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.
Required Technical Skills
- Able to analyse as-built /existing conditions and incorporate them into project.
- Ability to calculate cable tray calculations and design based on cable quantity and fill rates.
- Load calculations and modelling ICT/equipment as per international standards (i.e., BICSI)
- Low voltage Design including Security, AV and Telecom and Riser Diagrams.
- Duct Bank Calculations/UG cable calculations
- Time management and scope management
Software Skills
- Revit (Proficient to advanced is mandatory), should be able to modify create and Revit Families as per project requirements
- Dynamo Scripting (Intermediate)
- Navisworks, Revizto or similar Clash detection (Intermediate)
- AutoCAD (Intermediate)
- Visio (Advanced)
- Bluebeam (Intermediate to advanced)
