Senior Backend Software Engineer

Inflection.io is a venture-backed B2B marketing automation company, enabling to communicate with their customers and prospects from one platform. We're used by leading SaaS companies like Sauce Labs, Sigma Computing, BILL, Mural, and Elastic, many of which pay more than $100K/yr (1 crore rupee).

nAnd,... it's working! We have world-class stats: our largest deal is over 3 crore, we have a 5 star rating on G2, over 100% NRR, and constantly break sales records. We've raised $14M in total since 2021 with $7.6M of fresh funding in 2024, giving us many years of runway.

nResponsibilities & Duties:

• nDevelopment and testing of key platform features for a startup focusing on the marketing technology space.

• nWork with a team of engineers and deliver features and functions as outlined by your engineering manager.

• nDevelop using test driven development for all your work.

• nFocus on good design and justify your designs.

• nBe a steward for security and privacy.

• nImprove engineering processes and standards within the team

nMandatory Qualifications & Skills:

• nYou have 3+ years work experience as part of a core engineering team at a product company

• nExperience with processing, storing and analyzing very large amounts of data

• nDeep understanding and experience working with Java (8 or above) or C#.

• nGood problem solving skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms

• nExcellent communication and presentation skills

nSupporting Skills:

• nContainer based development with tools such as Docker

• nExperience working with data streaming applications built with Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink etc

• nExperience working with Kubernetes
