Senior Backend Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our web applications. You will work closely with the product team to understand requirements and implement scalable and efficient solutions.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role

- Strong proficiency in Express.js and Node.js

- Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously

- Attention to detail and ability to write clean and maintainable code

- Designing and implementing scalable and high-performance backend systems

- Developing and maintaining APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure successful project delivery

- Optimizing and improving existing backend infrastructure and codebase

- Troubleshooting and resolving performance and scalability issues

- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code

- Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to junior team members

- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers

- Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in backend development

- Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment

- Collaborating with frontend engineers to integrate frontend and backend systems
