Responsibilities:
Use GPT/Mixtral models to develop chatbots and datasets from Public data.
Build cutting-edge cloud-native infrastructure - real-time streaming engines (Apache Spark or similar), Scraping engines, Databases (BigQuery, Postgres or similar), and Analytics engines on top of Google Cloud Platform using Open source software.
Deliver frameworks and platforms that are secure, efficient, mature, and highly available that abstract away infrastructure complexity.
Optimize existing systems/services to improve performance and efficiency.
Systematically improve availability by applying industry and distributed systems best practices.
Work with other talented and friendly infrastructure engineers to build the foundation for Lifesciences data advancements over the next decade.
Requirements:
You are an expert-level engineer with Python.
4-8 years of professional experience in a Backend Infrastructure role.
A passion for AI and a good understanding of Python/Pandas/SQL.
The ability to work proactively and collaboratively with the various people and teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Work with a globally distributed team of Engineers.
