Summary of role:
Responsible for designing and developing software applications, maintaining and optimizing existing systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ensuring the performance and security of applications. Must have a deep understanding of .NET frameworks and programming languages As well as improvements to DevOps tooling.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Perform UI tests to op-mize performance
- Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Provide training and support to internal teams
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
- Follow emerging technologies.
Skills required :
- 5-7 years history of total software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, advanced degree preferred with an outstanding record of academic achievement.
- Proven work experience as a Back-end developer.
- In-depth understanding of the en-re web development process (design, development, and deployment)
- Developing, testing, and deploying software applications using C# and the .NET framework.
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies and best practices.
- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API development.
- Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Excellent analytical and time management skills.
- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Preferred familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
Notes:Experience in the banking or fintech industry is a must-have for this role. The working days are from Sunday to Thursday 9am to 5pm Egypt time.
