Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, MERN stack, python, git, and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement secure, performant, and scalable APIs to support Web3, and DeFi applications.
- Architect and optimise database schemas to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in web3, DeFi and blockchain projects.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js and MERN stack.
- In-depth understanding of blockchain technology and experience with DeFi protocols.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSocket programming.
- Proficient in database design and management, particularly with NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of security principles and how to apply them in applications.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other backend frameworks and languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
- Familiarity with smart contract development and Solidity.
