Senior Data Analytics Engineer -
Minimum 6 years experience
Working hours & holidays align with EST / CST USA-time zones
- Programming Languages: SQL, Python
- Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, Cosmos DB
- ETL Tools: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Fivetran, SSIS, Matillion
- Cloud Technologies (Azure experience with at least one of these): Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS, Snowflake, Fabric
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Azure DevOps (Deployment Pipelines), Bit Bucket, GitHub
- Project Management Tools: Azure DevOps (including Agile), Jira
- Operating systems: Windows and Linux
- Additional requirement: Using existing Reporting Tools to develop reports (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik)
Summary: as a Senior Data Analytics Engineer on the Data Analytics Data Platform (DADP) team, you analyze, develop, and deliver modern data platform solutions primarily using Azure services. You will work with clients, alongside Solution Architects, to identify business requirements and analyze business challenges. The Senior Data Analytics Engineer is able to use analytical and problem-solving skills and has data platform solution development experience. The Senior Engineer creates scalable and reliable data solutions to support our internal and external customers, occasionally dabbling in design and small-scale architecture.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- SQL, ELT, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, etc.).
- Functional understanding of the following: data processing automation, data quality, data warehousing, data governance, business intelligence, data visualization.
- Adept understanding of one or more of the following: data processing automation, data quality, data warehousing, data governance, business intelligence, data visualization.
- Exhibit and model responsibility and accountability towards quality completion of tasks and active Agile team participation.
