Job Summary:
nWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer. As a senior member, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex data solutions on the Azure platform. You will play a pivotal role in designing and building scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines and platforms to support business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
n
- Lead the design and implementation of complex data architectures and solutions on the Azure platform, leveraging technologies such as Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure Databricks, and Unity Catalog.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading into data warehouses and data lakes.
- Ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
- Leverage Python, PySpark/Scala to develop data processing and analysis solutions.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and security best practices.
- Identify opportunities for data optimization and performance improvement.

Role Requirements & Qualifications:
n
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure Databricks, and Unity Catalog.
- Expert-level programming skills in Python, PySpark / Scala.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with data architecture design and implementation.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor data engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cloud computing principles and best practices.
- Experience with other Azure data services (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, etc.)
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or related fields.
