Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Azure Administrator with 5+ years of experience to oversee, monitor, and support our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, with potential involvement in Oracle Cloud. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft's Hub and Spoke architecture and the Data Trust platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience configuring and managing Azure resources, ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of cloud solutions, and assisting with cloud migrations and updates. Strong troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to cloud management are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the Data Trust platform hosted on Azure.
- Clear understanding of Access management on Azure platform for services, including:
- Azure Fabric
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse
- ADLS
- Virtual Machines
- Provide administrative support to extend and integrate the Data Trust platform with additional data sources.
- Troubleshoot and debug user-reported issues related to Azure-hosted services.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure Services team to support the Hub and Spoke architecture, including:
- Firewalls
- Azure Active Directory (AAD)
- Information Security (InfoSec)
- Data Engineering and Analytics teams
- Provide operational support for services hosted on the Azure platform.
- Manage user accounts within the Azure DevOps organization.
- Demonstrate expertise in using Azure CLI and/or PowerShell.
- Utilize Azure platform APIs for efficient management and automation.
- Work closely with the Architecture team to implement services as directed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Azure administration and management is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud architecture best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting with Azure CLI and PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security and compliance.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Analytical thinking and working collaboratively are a must.
- Certified in Azure (preferred).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
