- We are currently seeking automation tester with an Fraud/Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Finance background to join our dynamic and growing Data migration services team in Pune.
- The person would work with the engineering team to understand the integration platform and test the pre-built data migration workflow so that they are fit for purpose.
- This role should have a good exposure to AWS cloud web SaaS solution ecosystem with an explore and challenge mindset. This role would be own the testing of the framework and connectors including performance testing.
How will you make an impact
- Understanding detail requirements for Functional and Usability to test web applications and backend services.
- Reviewing stories in detail to participate in grooming, sprint planning, and assess testing efforts
- Write detail test cases to ensure thorough testing for any given feature or function, as well as exploratory testing for scenarios that are not defined.
- Performing hands-on test execution
- Automating test cases for functional regression testing
- Monitoring daily regression builds to ensure quality of code is consistently maintained
- Contributing to product design to ensure testability and robustness of products and features
- Working closely with PM and Developers to deliver high quality releases for production.
- Defining and improving QA Processes/ Best Practices
- Applying innovative concepts in testing to enhance the test coverage, improve Quality and Reliability
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot application and environment issues
- Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools
Have you got what it takes
- BS/MS in CS or equivalent with 6-9 years of experience in Manual and Automation testing with at least 4 years of QA Automation experience
- Cloud-based test automation improves test execution scalability
- Experience in designing and implementing Test Strategy and Test Plan
- Experience in Java, Python or equivalent with experience working with Java Framework
- Experience in Behavior driven framework design and development for QA automation using Java (Windows / Linux environment)
- Experience with API automation tools like SOAP UI/Postman is MUST.
- Good scripting experience in relational database such as Oracle and MSSQL
- Requirement gathering and Defect management using tools like QC and JIRASound knowledge of SDLC phases and Testing Life cycle
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience working on Actimize solutions or Onboarding and compliance product will be an added advantage
- Familiar with CI/CD and experience with Jenkins, Artifactory and working knowledge in Docker will be an added advantage
- Experience testing with Rules Engines and Workflow Engines will be an added advantage
