Senior Associate Technology Infrastructure
Responsibilities
As
Senior Associate - Technology Infra, you will manage the Corporate IT setup that will include Servers, Network devices, Firewall Operations, AV systems covering Administrative, upkeep and break fix activities. You will be a
hands-on, individual contributor and your key responsibilities will include:
- OS: Install, upgrade, administration, support of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), AD, DHCP, DNS, IIS, FTP, File Server etc
- Applications: Diagnose and resolve Windows Applications and Networking incidents, IIS, Apache configuration and diagnostics
- Hypervisor: Install, upgrade, support VMWARE/Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization
- User Admin: Email Creation/deletion of users at Google Workspace (GWS) / O365 Admin Panels, SSO and AD federations.
- End user support: Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems assigned to the Server/Network Admin.
- Backup & Restoration: Perform Backup and restoration of Physical and VM servers on Daily, Weekly & Monthly as required.
- Patch/Asset Management: Maintain antivirus/patch Server and Client Machines at regular intervals. Carry out Asset Management activities on-time.
- Network Devices: Perform Firewalls & Network Devices administration (Switches, Wi-Fi Access Points, L2/L3 Switches) and support tasks.
- ISP / Telco Management: Maintain uptime of all Internet Links (Corporate, Project specific etc) by liaison with ISPs/Telcos
- AV setup: Uptime management of AV systems such as Video conference systems, display devices connectivity (wired/wireless) etc
- Vendor Management: Coordinating vendor support (Hardware, Software & ISP) with OEMs (such as Dell, HP) and System Integration Partners, AMC/Contract renewals tracking etc.
- Process Management: Information Security Process compliance management in standards like ISO 27001. Should have handled ISO/Client audits, ODC security controls management.
Required Experience, Skills & Competencies
- 6 to 8 years of experience in Servers (Windows/Linux) and Network (LAN/WLAN/WAN), Firewall Devices.
- Must be Hands-on in setting-up and management of Windows/Linux Servers OS such as
- AD, DNS, IIS, LAMP, WAMP
- MySQL, MS SQL
- Setting up Hyper-V and configure VMs
- Patch Management and OS Hardening.
- Backup and restore (Windows NT backup or any tools)
- Group Policy Management
- Must be Hands-on in setting-up and management of LAN/WLAN/WAN, Firewall Devices including
- Configuring VLAN in L3/L2 Switches
- Configuring VPN (IPSeC/SSL), Content filtering/URL filtering, DOS, Policies based on business requirements
- SNMP, WMI configuration for Monitoring tools
- Monitor and analysis of event logs
- Network performance monitoring
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications: MCSA, ITIL foundation, CCNA
- Exposure to EDR/XDR, ZTNA and DLP tools
- Exposure to IT Tools like ITSM, Monitoring, SIEM and MDM
- Exposure to Cloud implementation, administration, support will be a plus
