Resource management practice at BDO RISE is involved in resource planning and workforce management for Assurance, Tax and Advisory. The team currently handles a capacity of around 1600+ resources.
Job Duties
- 4-7 years of experience in resource management and workforce planning.
- Manage staffs scheduling (Lineup- Scheduling tools), updates involving clients schedules, PTO, and training.
- Need knowledge about scheduling and forecasting methodology along with capacity planning.
- Provide supply and demand reporting to identify resource and skill shortages or surpluses.
- Ability to understand various skills, grasp requirements, and discuss possible solutions with the delivery team.
- Excellent knowledge in MS Excel.
- Prepare and publish periodical reports with regards to employee utilization, team performance, and project progress.
- Analyze and explain the budget, forecast, and actual variances.
- Highlight the anticipated utilization for the upcoming month in comparison to the budget and provide any insights into any gaps in forecasted production.
- Good teamwork and good communication skills. Able to articulate the problem and participate calls for fulfillment.
- Coordinate with US resource managers and engagement to discuss conflicts and demand management.
- Perform schedule changes within the defined SLA.
- Flags potential conflicts (ie client work or PTO) and communicates with the Associate, Specialist, and Engagement teams as needed to find a resolution.
- Maintains open communication channels with all internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of information.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
