The Senior Associate Product Designer creates user-centred experiences and interfaces for products and solutions which improves end-to-end user journeys
Develops the overall design and specifications for creating and enhancing the experience and functionality of user interfaces for company products
Uses design tools to create storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture diagrams and user journey maps for demonstrations and user testing
In this role, the candidate will produce high fidelity designs for implementation by development teams, analyse user research, business insights and other data to continuously improve customer experiences
They will also review proposed product changes or enhancements for compliance and alignment with desired user experience design and satisfaction standards, suggest improvements, and creates and maintains UI/UX resources such as content templates, samples and guidelines
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and a dedicated Senior Associate Product Designer who can independently build visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for our digital products, considering usability and user- centred design principles.
Develops familiarity with problem-identifying methodologies, research, and processes
Participates in design presentations and provides support for internal presentation delivery
Conducts and analyses user research, capture feedback, and build wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to ensure efficient user experiences
Collaborates closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to gather requirements, provide design insights and ensure design consistency across platforms and devices
Use and contribute to our design language
Collaborate with fellow designers in the creation of basic concepts and prototypes
Ensure timelines are created, socialised and met
Provide clear and frequent communication to the team and partners
Minimum Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience working in a product design organisation or partnering directly with designers in such an organisation
Strong design portfolio showcasing designer s skills and expertise
Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Business peers and other stakeholders
A strong grasp of user- centred design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns
Expertise in designing using Figma
Strong in written and verbal communication and able to document and share processes and activities in an engaging way
