Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Processing:
    • Manage end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement for all employees.
    • Handle payroll for different categories including full-time employees, interns, and contract staff.
    • Manage statutory deductions such as Provident Fund, ESIC, TDS, and other compliances.
  • HRMS Management:
    • Ensure efficient use of the HRMS platform (such as Zimyo or other payroll software) to process payroll data.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve HRMS-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
    • Work closely with the HR team to ensure employee records are up to date in the HRMS system.
  • Travel Reimbursement:
    • Process employee travel reimbursements and claims as per company policy.
    • Verify travel expense reports and ensure compliance with organizational guidelines.
  • Full Final Settlement (F F):
    • Handle end-to-end full and final settlements for exiting employees, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of dues.
    • Prepare F F statements, including unpaid wages, leave encashment, and deductions.
  • Stipend Management:
    • Process stipends for interns and trainees as per agreed schedules.
    • Ensure accuracy in the stipend calculation and timely disbursement.
  • Reporting Compliance:
    • Prepare and maintain detailed payroll reports, such as monthly salary sheets, deductions, and reimbursements.
    • Assist in payroll audits and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies as needed.
  • MS Excel Expertise:
    • Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) to manage payroll data and generate reports.
    • Analyze payroll data for trends, discrepancies, and compliance checks.
  • Employee Queries:
    • Address payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely resolutions.
    • Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information at all times.
Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in payroll processing with hands-on experience in HRMS and MS Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, statutory compliance, and full final settlements.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced level).
  • Experience with payroll software like Zimyo or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
