We are looking for a talented data operations analyst to support day-to-day activities of the Product marketing team for Columbia Threadneedle Investments, part of Ameriprise Financial. In this role, you ll collaborate with Marketing, Data, Product Management and Technology to streamline data content for Columbia Threadneedle Investments products (mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, etc.), ensuring accuracy and improving automation for marketing deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Marketing, Data, Product Management and Technology to streamline data content for Columbia Threadneedle Investments products (mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, etc.), ensuring accuracy and improving automation for marketing deliverables: commentaries, presentations, and annual board reports.
- Extensive MS PowerPoint, Excel, and content management system work related to fund performance and characteristics automation.
- Coordinate with business partners in the preparation and buildout of templates in content management systems (Seismic) for quarterly commentaries, presentations, and annual board reports.
- Posts data reports and marketing deliverables to intranets or other distribution locations in a timely manner; communicates status updates to Senior Marketing Manager and business partners.
- Process and analyze data from multiple sources to eliminate duplication of deliverables, create machine readable files for automation, reduce risk in data errors, and improve production efficiency.
- Participate in projects related to data operations and marketing efficiency, executing on recommendations for improvement.
- Attends relevant presentation, commentary and board production status meetings and check-ins.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor s degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering or any related fields, and/or data management experience.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in finance (Asset management experience preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Seismic and/or SharePoint preferred.
- Programming experience with Excel VBA, SQL Server, and/or Python.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines and managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
