Senior Associate Investments
The Senior Associate will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and
supporting fundraising activities. This role is integral to the investment team, requiring a blend of technical
financial skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication capabilities to support and drive investment
decisions and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of detailed financial models including cashflow projections, financial statements and IRR calculations.
- Analysis & interpretation of financial statements, business models, determination of company/transaction
valuations.
- Evaluate investment opportunities using quantitative and qualitative methods. Draft and present documents
including Investment Memos, Term Sheets, Pitchbooks, Teasers, industry materials etc.
- Provide support for fund raising activities.
- Good understanding of taxation, finance and operational matters.
- Supervision / perform due diligence procedures including negotiations with vendors and coordinating relevant
information transfer for the process.
- Assist in deal structuring and closing principals.
- Finalization of accounts by co-ordinating with the auditor.
- Obtain periodic credit rating for portfolio assets.
- Preparing internal MIS for all assets on a monthly basis.
- Liaising with financial institutions, banks, consultants, rating agencies among others.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant/ MBA in Finance with a minimum experience of 3-5 years in the relevant field.
Key Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & PowerPoint skills.
- Understanding of financial statements, Capital structures, debt instruments and ratio analysis.
- Impeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with senior
professionals and key stakeholders.
- Strong logical, analytical skills and a systematic problem-solving approach
