Job Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Technical Business Analyst is to ensure that complex business requirements are accurately translated into clear technical solutions, with a strong emphasis on enhancing business processes and systems. The role is pivotal in guiding project success through meticulous requirement analysis and effective communication with stakeholders. This position acts as a critical bridge between business units and technical teams, ensuring that the correct business needs are transformed into technical specifications to drive system improvements and innovations.
Desired Skills And Experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or related role.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and work effectively with substantial teams.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to apply analytical thinking for making informed decisions.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, proficient in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent understanding of the requirements gathering process (functional and non-functional)
- Knowledge in capital markets and financial instruments (FX, FI, Swaps)
- Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools.
- Agile project management methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the business units and IT, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.
- Functional and nonfunctional requirement gathering, building user stories
- Gather, document, and prioritize technical and business requirements from stakeholders.
- Design and maintain comprehensive project roadmap
- Facilitate meetings to elicit requirements from senior stakeholders and executives.
- Assess and revise existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
- Develop and present clear and detailed project updates to ensure stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Manage scope and change requests in conjunction with project leadership.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
- Lead the analysis of business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications using modeling techniques.
