Job Description: Senior Art Director at Digital Media Agency
Work Location: Bengaluru
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Art Director to lead our
creative team in delivering innovative and impactful digital campaigns. The ideal candidate will
possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to inspire and guide a
multidisciplinary team of creatives. As the Senior ACD - Art, you will oversee the development of all
digital art elements, ensuring they align with our clients brand voices and marketing objectives while
pushing the boundaries of creativity in the digital space.
Leadership
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the creative team, including designers, copywriters, and other creative
professionals, to conceptualize and execute innovative and impactful digital campaigns.
- Oversee the development of digital art, including graphic designs, illustrations, animations,
and visual elements, ensuring they align with the brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the copywriting team, providing guidance and creative input to craft
compelling and effective copy for various digital platforms.
- Develop and maintain the agency's creative vision, ensuring consistency and excellence in
all creative outputs.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to the creative team, fostering a collaborative
and high-performance culture.
- Supervise, support, and inspire creative management leaders.
- Rally multidisciplinary teams across the organization to deliver creative projects from
conceptualization to final execution.
New Age
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in digital art and design, as well as copywriting best
practices, to keep the agency at the forefront of creativity.
- Encourage the team to adopt new-age tools and technologies, such as GEN AI, Figma, and
web design.
- Maintain a solid understanding of user exper nience (UX) and user interface (UI) design
principles to create visually appealing and user-friendly digital experiences.
Operational Planning
- Actively participate in client meetings to understand their goals and objectives, and present
creative concepts that resonate with their brand and target audience.
- Take ownership of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and
meet or exceed client expectations.
- Expertly articulate and track project milestones, deliverables, and risks to account leads and
senior management, internal and/or external vendors, while communicating progress, issues,
and accomplishments.
- Allocate appropriate personnel for all creative assignments.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as account management and digital strategy, to ensure a
seamless and integrated approach to client campaigns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Art Director or similar role in a digital media agency.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of digital campaigns and creative projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a
creative team.
- Proficiency in digital design tools and software, including but not limited to Adobe Creative
Suite, Figma, and other relevant platforms.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, UX/UI principles, and the latest design trends.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative
concepts and strategies to clients and internal teams.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
