Job Description
Senior Application Support
The primary responsibility of the Senior Application support is to further provide all
necessary assistance for several applications and interfaces along with data sources. The
person must have the ability to work as part of a team, within IT as well as in collaboration
with end-users by taking over business analyst activities. They must be able to
understand requirements, design and document appropriate solutions and contribute to
implement them if required to satisfy the users needs.
The successful applicant will work with international development and IT Operation and
Support team for financial solution. Experience working with Agile and DevOps
methodologies would be preferable.
Job Specification
Maintenance and support of new and existing scheduling and ETL solutions
Support report running and Delivery function.
Manage swift support services including release upgrade, BIC integration,
including vendor relationship.
Data model and (PL/)SQL Support.
Technical documentation.
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical stakeholders and
business end users.
Working with the product owner to deliver solutions with a smooth transition
through to the production environment.
Adhere to change management and release management procedures.
Working closely with other team members and end users.
Skills Required
5+ years design and support experience.
Solid knowledge and experience in Scripting (CMD, Powershell, Ksh, etc.)
Experience in (Oracle) database design and PL/SQL .
Comfortable with Git source control.
Knowledge and experience of software engineering life cycle.
Experience working with automation/scheduling tools, such as Control-M
Experience working with ETL tools, such as X-Gen
Experience in SSRS reporting or Crystal
Great attention to details and the passion to drive projects forward.
Excellent time management and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills in both English written and verbal.
Good understanding of financial solution and process.
Background in the financial industry preferable.
