JOB DESCRIPTION
NI Application Engineersensure customer success at accounts by demonstrating the highest technical aptitude and professional engineering skills. They provide innovative solutions and deliver projects while becoming trusted technical partners for NI's customers. This is a role that requires not only deep understanding of semiconductor industry with domain knowledge, but also strong personal drive and can do attitude to learn and solve customers application needs.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Ensure Account/Project Success
- Work with Sales to win opportunities through achieving key support objectives for assigned accounts/projectstied to project delivery, issues resolution, customer proficiency development
- Able to identify possible identify risks ahead of project deployment, superb execution on time, and project management to meet customer timeline
- Demonstrate troubleshooting expertise in resolving customer issues and provide incremental daily updates on progress and action plan
- Semiconductor automated test technical leadership
- Develop/debug/validation test programs to solve customer's test problems for DC parametric measurements, mixed-signal and logic applications
- Analog and digital test interfaces to implement switching, filtering, signal conversion, and other functions as needed
- Able to draft competitive analysis based on past knowledge and experience between NI and Major semiconductor ATE platform experience
- Contribute to customer success
- Recognized by customer and account managers to have contributed to customer success building organization level loyalty to NI, as measured through a satisfaction survey
- Ensure customer success by providing technical offerings that meet their need through a combination of NI Systems and Services
- Be the voice of the customer to feedback to internal stakeholders to close the gap between customer expectations and NI Semiconductor's offerings

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
- 9+ years of work experience in the relevantTest and Measurement Industry:
- On-Wafer test, IPD, ADC/DAC, LED, MEMS sensor, PMIC &,etc.
- Experience in common test engineering instruments:DMM,SMU,LCR,AWG, Oscilloscope,etc.
- Automated software and system development in validation and production.
- Major semiconductor ATE platform experience(Plus)
- Technical knowledge of Automated Test software and hardware platforms in general
- Experience communicating directly with customers at the operation management level
- Willing and able to travel domestically or internationally, up to 20%
- Project management skills and a sense of urgency in project delivery.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in English
