Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Snowflake, data integration tools (AWS AppFlow, Spark, Kafka), SQL, and Python.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of iPaaS tools (Workato) and Salesforce DataCloud is a plus.
- Expertise in tools like Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in data engineering/warehousing, and 3+ years in Snowflake.
Job Summary:
The Senior Snowflake Developer will lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced software applications using Snowflake and other data technologies. The role involves collaborating with IT teams, Agile leads, and end-users in India and the US to analyze requirements, develop solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and design solutions for new applications using Snowflake features like time travel, zero copy cloning, and secure data sharing.
- Develop scalable data pipelines using Snowflake SQL, Snowpipe, and other tools.
- Integrate components into a functional system, ensuring compatibility.
- Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Stay updated on Snowflake and data technology trends and lead junior developers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and document processes for seamless project execution.
