Senior Android Developer (Remote) / Senior Android Developer (Mumbai Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer who excels in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate should be passionate about mobile development and continuously staying up-to-date with the latest Android trends. You'll work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to bring our mobile experience to life.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain advanced Android applications for our product ecosystem.

Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Collaborate with the backend team to define APIs and features for optimal mobile app performance.

Keep up-to-date with Android development best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Provide architectural leadership and expertise to ensure high-quality code.

Requirements:

Proven Experience: 5+ years of Android development experience.

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.

Familiarity with Jetpack libraries, RxJava, Room, Retrofit, Dagger, etc.

Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns like MVVM or MVP.

Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration.

Knowledge of push notifications, RESTful APIs, and integrating third-party libraries.

Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.

Hybrid Role: Candidates applying for the hybrid role must be based in Mumbai or willing to relocate.
