Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Android Developer. The Senior Android Developer will be responsible for designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin
• Extensive experience in Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVP, MVVM, or MVI
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Experience with Firebase, SQLite, and performance tuning is a plus
