Job Description
Required Skills:
8-12 years of experience in SAP FICO area including S4 HANA and ECC
versions.
Should have thorough understanding on following components:
New GL, A/R. A/P, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting including DMEE and Bank
interface setup, FSCM (Credit Management)
Controlling configuration, cost element, cost centers, internal orders,
COPA, development of COPA reports, Planning, Budgeting, Overhead Cost
Controlling, Product Costing
Product cost controlling - Specifically Make to Stock Scenario
Exposure to Actual Costing (Material Ledger) and e-invoicing would be a PLUS
ERP Cross-module integration knowledge
Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, SD.
Should be well versed with Taxation Scenarios
Expertise on Solution / data migration / cutover management / training
management.
Expert analytical skills with problem identification and resolving ability.
Enthusiastic outlook with affinity to quickly learn new things.
Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication and
collaboration skills.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, able to multitask and
prioritize as needed.
Proven ability to analyze, research, assess and implement SAP solutions
Experience with SAP Based APIs, SAP based web services, BAPI and RFC Calls,
IDOC based integrations is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to translate
business processes or concepts into technical requirements
The ability to identify the impact of process or data across more than one
functional area or SAP module is necessary.
SQL Querying, HANA Studio and Tableau experience is nice to have
Experience in suggesting Business Process and IS Process improvements is
nice to have
Excellent data analysis and analytical skills with ability to debug and
trouble-shoot issues.
Excellent Ability to map process flows in Visio
Should have worked on multiple enhancements & customizations right from
requirements gathering to Production deployment.
Should have worked on one End-to-End implementation project.
Team player with effective coordination with other employees
Responsibilities:
Work closely with business users to determine business requirements and
translate them to system requirements with respect to FICO area and related
business functions.
Demonstrate a Get it done attitude and drive initiatives to closure with
proactive stakeholder interaction, following ups and escalations as needed.
Learn and gain expertise of Medline business processes, map out process
flows and identify areas for improvement with process change or system
improvements.
Work closely with the business community to elicit, define and document
requirements, business goals, and deliver IS solutions per business-mandated
deadlines.
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to evaluate & propose
design alternatives, and deliver optimum solutions, while minimizing impact to
system stability and performance.
Present ideas, designs and areas of expertise to business user groups,
including management
Own and lead delivery of projects and drive projects to closure with little
or no supervision and follow-ups from business or IS supervisors.
Communicate system issues and impacts to business stakeholders in clear
non-technical terms.
Assist team manager in determining scope and impact of enhancement
requests, estimating effort, developing detailed project plans with timeline,
manage cutover tasks, track delivery to timelines and communicate status with
appropriate cadence.
Plan, document and conduct knowledge transition activities for newly
implemented functionality to team members and business users.
Provide off-hours support as needed, participating in the on-call rotation.
Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times and consistently
interact professionally and productively with all levels of Medline employees.
Follow Medline s Code of Ethics and other corporate policies.
Responsible for making software configuration changes to support business
processes.
Responsible for technical development for approved enhancements.
Responsible for the functional and technical testing of the application
(development and configuration) and the support of these applications when
moved to production.
Adhere to departmental quality assurance and quality control standards
during testing and implementation activities.
Consider data sensitivity and process control to determine security and
user authorization impacts. Works with manager and with corporate auditing to
ensure that access to systems and data are authorized only to the proper people.
Analyze production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue
and determine the necessary course of action for resolution.
Create and deliver user documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of
changed and newly implemented efforts.
Consider business processes and system interaction when creating this
documentation.
Determine proper delivery method for this communication: e.g. formal
training, distribution of soft copy documents, etc.
Work with IT training staff as necessary to ensure departmental consistency.
