What this job involves:
We have an exciting role for a
Sr. Analyst, Research to support the Australian Strategic Consulting team. This is a new engagement and we are searching for a strategically minded, client-centric and proactive individual who will be responsible for providing baseline research support to the Strategic Consulting team for the development of consulting reports for large corporates. The reports this team creates cover several aspects including due diligence on sale or purchase of properties, evaluation of competing office markets, clients portfolio review accommodation strategies, precinct studies and other real estate-related studies in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
The Sr. Analyst would be working closely with the Australian team to fulfil their needs on property and market level Information and analysis; you will be required to:
- Act as a point of contact for research support and address as well as fulfil stakeholders needs on various research requirements
- Ensure client satisfaction by providing high-quality client deliverables with actionable insights
- Assist seniors in workflow management and allocation of work to team members
- Provide regular inputs to improve the offerings in terms of structure, presentation of content and research
- Assist in maintaining work ethics and ensure no SLA miss in the team
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide inputs to improve existing research tools and help develop new tools using automation
- Promote the team to drive awareness and utilization through internal communication channels
- Contribute actively to the initiatives in the wider Research team
- Act as a role model to the team and be actively involved in quality control, grooming and training of team members.
Preferred experience and essentials:
- Key essentials for your role:
- Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong planning, project management and problem resolution skills.
- Able to manage one or more projects simultaneously.
- Well versed with working on MS PPT, Excel, and Word
- Have knowledge of databases such as Real Capital Analytics, CoStar, Capital IQ, D&B Hoovers, Factiva, Pitchbook, and Sales Navigator.
- Academics & Experience:
- Relevant graduate/post-graduate degree from a reputed institution.
- 2-3+ years of relevant market research & consulting experience. Experience in the real estate industry will be a bonus

You will have a focus on continuous improvement to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the team. In addition to guiding and mentoring analysts aligned to you, the candidate would be responsible for conducting quality control checks to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.

Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively to build domain knowledge within the team.
Timings:
Day shift (9 am to 6 pm IST). However, flexibility is expected regarding earlier start times based on project or team requirements.
