Job Description:

The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring they are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. This position requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements..

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation & Analysis of Financial Statements:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following GAAP or IFRS guidelines.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity of reports.
• Conduct variance analysis on financial statements and related notes.
• Ensure all financial reporting complies with regulatory and legal standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and implement audit recommendations.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement improvements in reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and document financial reporting policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

• Attention to Detail: High focus on accuracy and adherence to reporting standards.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey requirements to clients and auditors for the preparation and finalization of audited financials.
• Call Handling: Proficient in addressing audit queries over calls and implementing audit recommendations.
• Problem-Solving: Skilled in resolving issues related to the preparation and finalization of audited financials.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other financial reporting standards.
