- Looking for people with 3-6 years of experience in Capital Markets domain having good experience in listed derivatives instruments like Futures, Options and OTC products like Forwards, Swaps (both IRS & CCY Swaps). Experience in OTC Collateral management or reasonable understanding about the collateral management process.
- Should be able to understand Hedge fund business basics, NAV/GAV calculations,
- Working experience with Fund Administrator or Custodian or Investment bank would be advantage,
- Any certifications from capital markets or any other charter certifications are a plus.
- Should be a good team player and ability to manage a team.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight of NAV review with experience in handling multiple process of NAV review,
- Experience in fee calculations,
- Experience in financial reporting and review of financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheet and trial balance),
- Cash management; subscription/redemption management, managing invoices, SSI setups, work with SWIFT messages,
- Reconciliation of Cash and Positions, sweep accounts & Review of bank balances,
- Work with CPO s, IM s, Administrators, Clients, Vendors, located globally.
- Preparation and reporting of withholding statements for tax purposes,
- Working along with onshore for multiple regulatory reporting requirements,
- Focus on building and maintaining quality and control systems.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 3-6 Years of experience in Hedge Fund Accounting or Fund Administration experience,
- Good understanding of Hedge Fund Strategies and hedge fund investing,
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and accounting concepts,
- Good knowledge of financials statements - P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet,
- Experience of working with SWIFT payments, knowledge of MT103, MT202, etc.
- Ability to streamline processes, work with tech team on automation and contribute effectively to testing scenarios.
- Good communication, email writing and interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION
- Master s degree specialization in Finance or Accounting is must,
- CA/CFA/CPA/CMA completed, or pursuing is an added advantage.
