About the Team
The DCO team comprises of business intelligence and digital consulting professionals with expertise in the domain of e-commerce/online retail focused on customer analytics and insights. The team uses the power of data analytics and industry research to ensure supreme customer experience on Lowes.com, which is one of the most crucial levers in driving online revenue growth.
Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst leverages the online business data to identify major financial and customer improvement opportunities for the business. The Senior Analyst will identify new opportunities in sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, Inventory, Cancels, Returns, Delivery SLAs and other digital metrics. The Senior Analyst partners with team members of the Digital Commerce organization to build compelling insights and recommendations that can drive positive category performance and outcomes. The Senior Analyst will also support tracking of actions taken by the partner teams and monitor their category, financial, and customer performance impact against the business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
Understanding online and e-commerce business at a category level, onsite behavior, marketing channels, product preferences, qualitative feedback, etc.; Build on the fly dashboards & apply advanced analytics methods to draw insights, and then translate them into business recommendations
Collect, verify, analyze and summarize data using a variety of digital analytics tools and platforms to derive compelling insights and highlight performance trends that can be used to improve user experience.
Assist with quantitative and qualitative research to support digital initiatives such as content development, Category page redesign product development, and new business initiative
Maintain and distribute daily, weekly and event reports
Do market study and provide competitive intelligence to understand best industry practices with the focus of enhancing digital customer experience ( e.g. Hierarchy and attribution)
Responsible for hands-on working at various nodes of data-driven consulting process: right from pulling and aggregating data from various sources, churning insights and recommendations for the category short term and long term strategy with stakeholder
Utilize programmatic and quantitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in large data sets, as well as apply mathematical, statistical, and other data-driven analysis to address intelligence questions
Understanding of Programming experience in (Python/R); Practical knowledge of data in various forms (data warehouses/SQL, unstructured data environments/HIVE, Impala); Familiarity with BI reporting tools (Google analytics, Adobe, etc)

4-6 years relevant experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, marketing, finance or related field.
