nPurpose:

nBoston Scientific Information Technology is looking for a Business Process- Ariba to support and deliver strategic initiatives supporting the Enterprise Competency Center. This individual should be highly motivated with excellent analysis and execution skills. In this position, teamwork and networking with business partners and cross-functional IT team members is a necessary skill. The individual should enjoy working in a fast pace, high visibility, and impact environment.

n Key Responsibilities:

• nStrong functional knowledge of Procurement Processes and understanding on how Ariba integrates with SAP ECC
• n Evaluate change requests for feasibility, and adherence to global design. Focus on resolution tracking and problem escalation.
• nProvides System Administrative support including managing groups, roles, permissions, etc.
• nActs as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other governmental organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of case management systems to ensure optimal operational performance. Will assist with configuration, integration, maintenance, and support of an established global design
• nMust have experience working in Product teams and strong understanding of Agile Methodology
• nIdentifies opportunities for improvement that will best meet with customer and company requirements.
• nAssures quality of business systems by developing and executing test specifications, and implementing test and quality plans, while working with quality assurance analysts to improve IT quality processes.
• nCreates and provides quality training material for user assistance and system usage.
• nWorks closely with the development team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution is delivered according to the specifications and implementation needs of the business
• nInterface/Integration experience
• nBasic Knowledge of SAP R/3 (Procurement)
• nExperience in SAP SCC will be good to have
• nBackground in deployment and roll-out of ARIBA systems and solutions is a plus
• nStrong process background Standards/Governance/System Change Management
• nUnderstanding of AI for Ariba, intelligent recommendations and ML

Qualifications:

• nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5+ years of relevant business process and system analysis experience
• nSpeaks fluent English. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• nAbility and willingness to support alternate work hours (APAC / Europe Timings/US)
• nDemonstrated problem solving skills, solving complex problems, demonstrating sound business judgement and applying clear decision making. Experienced in working with developers to provide business solutions
• nHighly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• nExperience in a regulated environment
• nExperience partnering with external vendors and business partners on projects, including working with offshore and geographically dispersed teams
• nExperienced in trouble shooting system & data issues
• nProven experience in translating data into actionable business insight
• nAbility to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
• nSelf-starter with strong, proactive work ethic
• nExceptional organizational & time management skills
• nSAP ARIBA certification will be plus.
