Responsibilities
- Associate will be responsible for the facilitation and coordination activities around global business operations analytics. This role will act as a liaison with the Global and Regional Teams in Supply Chain, Operations, R&D, Service, Marketing, and Sales to support their recurring and one-time processes.
- The role requires leading and delivery of business-critical information in a variety of formats, a few examples include reports, dashboards, and applications, adhering to strict timelines and focusing on delivering information with the highest quality for important decision-making. Provides value-added analysis and information for our cross-functional stakeholders for more effective job performance and better decision-making through use of SAP and other related tools.
- Provides support in identifying and analyzing data to derive trends and insights, works with the appropriate teams to suggest proper levers to be pulled across the functional domains to improve business performance, such as financial projections, forecast accuracy, inventory accuracy, installed instrument utilization, and future business growth opportunities.
- Information Delivery: Monitors, publishes, and issues status reports and metrics of the processes by creation of dashboards.
- Analytics Support: Utilizes business intelligence, SAP, and other analysis tools to generate value-added information for our cross-functional stakeholders.
- Process Automation: Utilizes SAP Scripts and Excel macros to automate global processes to save time and enhance efficiency.
- Project Discovery and Validation: Works with project teams and associates to ensure proper identification of all impacted data elements based on change(s) being proposed.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering, or equivalent and at least 2 years experience
- Demonstrated leadership courage, collaborator, and team player
- Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated critical thinker and problem solver with a high learning agility, autonomy, and curiousness to learn new skills
- Understanding of databases and remote access to server data
- Comfortable manipulating large amounts of data
- Experience in business intelligence tools, data modeling, visualization (i.e., Power BI, Power Apps, etc.)
- A plus:
- Knowledge of ERP and SAP systems
- Hands-on experience with Python, R, SQL
