Job Description

About the Role

In the Chief Accounting Officer Organization we work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, disciplined execution of strategic business objectives, as well as extracting key insights from the business to support strategic decisions. The Sr. Analyst, Business Enablement plays an integral role in cross functional planning and prioritization for the company as a whole. In this role you will help to manage a cross functional board that oversees key decisions regarding in-scope changes to our various business models around the globe - entity/contract onshoring, fee and promotional structure changes, new market launches, and payments localization schemes, and much more. You'll be a key player in how proposals from regional general managers are brought to CAO leadership and decided on - you'll work closely with leaders in Global Strategic Finance, Global Tax, Regional Corporate & Employment Legal, Payments Legal, Payments Business Development, Payments Product, and Payments Compliance & Strategy.

What You'll Do

Administer the dependency intake process designed to evaluate and scope projects to be supported by the CAO org, including:

  • Act as main point of contact in the CAO for regional regional operations teams
  • Educate Operations teams and their Strategic Finance counterparts on the types of business activities that require CAO support to provide consistent and accurate financial data to measure business performance.
  • Own dependency request communications, as well as any resulting Q/A and support.
  • Partner directly with Operations teams to capture the drivers of change, including clear market-driven and financial rationale, as well as regulatory/political factors.
  • Partner with local Corporate Legal, Payments Legal, Tax Transfer-pricing/Reporting, Intercompany Consolidations, and Treasury to craft legal entity structures with contractual and payment arrangements that achieve business objectives while maximizing corporate efficiency.
  • Become fluent in the system domains managed by the CAO org and be able to apply that knowledge to evaluating the implications of how upstream changes affect downstream systems.
  • Become fluent in the roles and responsibilities of the broader CAO org and apply that knowledge to business challenges to determine which CAO teams are relevant to dependency requests.
  • Draft project plans based on your evaluation of dependency request details and requirements and provide estimated durations of work.
  • Raise awareness about potential areas for process design optimization.
  • Research and resolve any issue or concern raised by any CAO Stakeholder group member related to the details of the project plans created or details provided by our business partners, including but not limited to making process improvements.
  • Manage a central repository that captures the register of dependency requests, the committed pipeline, and the historical launch database.
  • Assist the broader BE team in drafting accurate company-wide program updates.
  • Assist in the continuous design and improvement of the technology and tools used by the BE team and the broader stakeholder group, including requirements gathering, prioritization, user acceptance testing, and release.

What You'll Need

  • BA / BS - Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in multinational, high-tech, high-volume organizations.
  • Management consulting experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong program management and organizational skills with an ability to plan and perform multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, manage stakeholders, influence others, and drive sound business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to raise and resolve problems and coordinate with geographically dispersed engineering, finance, and operations groups to drive resolution.
  • Thorough attention to detail with an ability to perform in-depth problem solving, while also seeing the big picture.
  • Familiarity with business systems, preferably Oracle, and understanding of connected enterprise-level financial management software.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a collaborative working style and an ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with high growth and its impact on processes and systems.
  • Experience with developing scalable, efficient, and SOX compliant processes.
  • Consistent track record of increased responsibilities and scope.
  • General knowledge of accounting policies/procedures and financial statements.

We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently. If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, work with us, and let's move the world forward, together.
