Senior Analyst

The Senior Analyst will be part of the AXA XL Actuarial Pricing team in India and will support a wide range of pricing initiatives for the APAC commercial lines of business. The candidate will have an opportunity to work closely with Senior Actuaries, and others around the globe, and be part of a growing team.

What will your essential responsibilities include
.Case pricing of large risks across multiple lines of businesses.
.Analysis of pricing metrics coming from the pricing tools.
.Audit the rate change and profitability measures being recorded.
.Building pricing models for new products or where the tools do not currently exist.
.Maintaining and streamlining existing actuarial pricing tools, including updating parameters and methods.
.Management of data collection processes from pricing tools and then analysis of that data.
.Assist Actuarial leads with producing recommendations for the base loss ratio as part of the business/strategic planning exercises.
.Training of underwriters on the pricing tools and metrics.
You will report to the Actuary, Pricing Operations.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills and Abilities:
.General Insurance (Property and Casualty) experience is preferred.
.Undergraduate degree and at least 6 Core Principles Series Exams.
.Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
.Advanced mathematical/financial/statistical aptitude.
.Outstanding computer application skills, specifically Excel, R, SQL and Visual Basic Application.

.Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
.Keen attention to detail.
.Robust oral and written communication skills.
