We are hiring Senior Accounts Executive for a Leading Manufacturing Company
Overview
The Senior Accounts Executive plays a crucial role in our organization by overseeing the financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. They are responsible for managing the accounting team and providing strategic financial guidance to the management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance activities.
- Manage cash flow and treasury functions.
- Provide training and development opportunities for the accounting team.
- Review and improve internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
- Participate in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Stay updated with accounting standards and best practices.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of internal controls and audit processes.
- Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities.
Candidates with good exposure to GST filing, IT filing and strong exposure to Tally.
Work Location: Kilpauk, Chennai.
