Senior Accountant at Talrop holds a key position within the finance department, responsible for overseeing and managing various financial aspects of the organization. This role requires a deeper understanding of accounting principles, advanced analytical skills and the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities : Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable and produce error free accounting reports and present their results. Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles. Assist with tax audits and tax returns. Skills required : Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Effectiveness in managing month-end and year-end closing processes. Adherence to internal controls and regulatory compliance. Quality of financial analysis and insights provided. Successful completion of audits with minimal issues.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is often preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls. Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
